The Camp ... Day 1 continued .....

On arrival at the camp in Tinangol we were welcomed by the staff, who had made bracelets for the children to wear. The children where tired but excited that they had finally arrived in the beautiful countryside of Borneo. The staff at the camp were excellent with the children. They were very friendly and approachable with the children and put them at ease very, very quickly. We even enrolled one of the little village boys - Dadu, who lived on the camp, as V.I.P class member and gave him a school tie that Moysey had been wearing.


Then it was off up to the longhouse to find out exactly where we would be sleeping. The longhouse looked amazing and the children quickly decided who was going to share rooms.
