Community Bead Making Factory

After lunch we headed off on a 20 minute trek through the countryside to get to the

village. Once we reached the village bead factory, the children were given a demonstration of the art of bracelet making by the local ladies who then supervised the children in starting their own designs. You can see from the photos that there was a lot of interest from this activity.

Elwen especially took his time and produced an excellent design that was finished off by the ladies. We later gave these bracelets out in our assembly. We had a good lunch of burgers and salad and then toured the factory and had the chance to purchase some of the locally made trinkets.
